Over 70% of all Internet traffic is web traffic. The WEBaXcel works with any existing firewall appliance to provide a comprehensive caching engine along with multi-session acceleration to speed up downloads across multiple Internet links.

Accelerate web-based connectivity for offices, schools, multitenant facilities via automated bandwidth control, built-in content caching and our unqiue method of caching and storage of Internet content which greatly increases performance for commonly access files, videos, etc. Unlike other "caching" solutions, the WEBaXcel product can also accelerate first time accessed content, which greatly improves performance and downloads speeds for end-users.
Example: Other solutions may download a large 100MB file in 5 minutes, the WEBaXcel can download the same file in 2 minutes, and each successive download will take just seconds as the file will have been cached locally by the WEBaXcel caching engine.
Content Caching
The WEBaXcel appliances provide accelerated access to the Internet via its built-in caching engine, along with integrating the latest web content filtering technology from our partner, Webroot. This solution allows WEBaXcel administrators to speed up web connectivity while adhering to the organizations' web management standards and fully comply with HIPPA and CIPA.
Web Filtering with Active Directory Integration
The WEBaXcel platform incorporates Active Directory user integration so that web filtering and reporting can be performed on a per-user basis. Each time a user logs in to a device on the network the WEBaXcel appliance will register their new IP address and be able to track them.

ApeXfilter Web Threat Protection - Enterprise class web content filtering with inteligent real-time cloud filtering database, allow and deny lists, and category based filtering options. Blocks Malware, Spyware, Phishing and Viruses from infiltrating end-users systems via the web.
Web Content Caching (w/MultiWAN) - Increase productivity for end-users by implementing the web caching module within the EdgeXOS platform. Web caching speeds up common file downloads and improves overall Internet performance.
Adaptiband DBM - Dynamic Bandwidth Management includes unique traffic shaping and QoS capabilities which greatly simplifies bandwidth control. DBM automatically minimizes P2P usage and bandwidth hogs, thus preventing "network slowdowns".
Stateful Inspection Firewall - The EdgeXOS firewall provides customers with the ability to replace or offset their existing firewall capabilities. The rules-based firewall enables the administrator to allow or deny traffic and/or log traffic for simplified troubleshooting.
WEBaXcel Endpoint Client Protection - When organizations require per-user or group-based web filtering control the WEBaXcel thin-client performs authentication and provides detailed customized reporting options while protecting users from viruses, spyware and malware.
ActiveHA (ISP Failover) - In the event of a network outage, the EdgeXOS platform automatically detects and fails over to the remaining active connections. SLA reporting and deep path inspection constantly monitors link status.
Comprehensive LAN Router - Built-in to each EdgeXOS appliance is a full set of standard network routing capabilities, including DHCP, VLANs, secondary interface addresses, static routing, RIP/OSPF routing, and XRoads' specific routing algorithms.
Real-Time Network Reporting - The EdgeXOS platform includes real-time network reporting using our XFlow technology. XFlow monitoris network traffic and reports on throughput, application usage, and top users via continuously updated graphs.
